Add a cost entry for a vehicle

You can record all costs incurred for a vehicle, such as expenses for refuelling, insurance, leasing, repairs or parking.

  1. In the Vehicles overview, click on the vehicle.

  2. Click the Costs tab.

  3. Click the + button at the top right of the Expenses overview.

  4. Enter the details.

  5. Click Save.


Expense type

The reason for the expense. If the reason is not available in the list, select Other.

Recurring costs

Check this option to add recurring expenses such as leasing or rental installments.

Select the interval and specify a start date and an end date.

Fleet automatically creates the required cost entries for the specified period.

If you attach files to a recurring cost entry, you can specify whether the files should be added only for the current entry or for all occurrences of the cost.
