Compare is one of Vind AI's most powerful views. Compare your scenarios side-by-side. Here you can instantly see how a change in layout or other parameters shifts the result, energy yield, cost, or whatever matters most to your decision.
Most renewable developers are weighing up multiple configurations at once. Compare gives you a single view to make that call with confidence, rather than switching back and forth between layouts and trying to hold the numbers in your head.
What you'll see in compare
Each branch appears as a column, with key output metrics listed in rows.
Highlight the differences between branches by choosing one as a Reference so you can spot the impact of a change at a glance.
You can add or remove branches from the view at any time.
How to compare your branches
Navigate to the Compare view from the main project menu at the middle top bar.
Start by selecting your original branch and the branch you created in Step 3 and they will appear side by side.
If you want to select other/remove output metrics, click “select rows” and select/deselect the relevant metrics.
Review the output metrics for each branch and look for the differences. Set one of your cases as a Reference.
If you want to explore further, go back and create another branch with a different change, then return to compare.
Good to know
Every branch you create in a project is available in Compare. The more branches you have, the more useful the view becomes.
You can export your Compare results to share with colleagues or include in reports.
