We've designed VineConnect to automate communications based on actions taken in Filevine and that includes the ever-increasing importance of soliciting and collecting great Google, Facebook, and Yelp reviews. As of VineConnect v3.6, we now support MMS with Review Request text messages. This means you can send images, videos, PDFs, and other media files inside your review request. Learn more about inserting media files in text messages here.

NOTE: There is a restriction on the timeframe these are sent to clients, in accordance with federal guidelines published by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). They are only sent during the day from 9a - 9p.

You can send Review Request links via SMS to your Clients based on the Filevine Phase changes. In the Phase Change SMS section, you can indicate which phase(s) should send a Review Request by checkbox. Check out this support article for more info on Phase Change SMS configs.

When a client is eligible for a Review Request, VineConnect can first send a qualifying text message to the client to solicit a feedback score. This allows you to ensure only satisfied clients will receive the review request link by setting a minimum score threshold to release the link. Toggle the Set a Qualified Response Threshold to active to enable this feature:

NOTE: If you do not set a threshold, the Review Request Text will be released to all eligible review request clients automatically.

Default messages are available when you toggle to set a Qualified Response Threshold, however you can customize this text message to state whatever you feel is best.

You will see a place to insert the qualifying Score required for a client to respond to via that SMS, which will then trigger the review link OR if desired you can set an Unqualified Response as well for lower scores:

VineConnect allows you to map as many Google review request links as you want to help distribute reviews across different GBP listings (Google Business Profile). Each link will be mapped to a block of zip codes that correspond to your Client's zip code listed in their contact record in Filevine:

Start by identifying all of the zip codes you want associated with a particular GMB profile. Think of your GMB profile as "markets" with which different zip codes may align. Pulling a report from Filevine may assist you with this as well.

In the case of multiple listings and zip codes needing to be added we have an even easier way to do this! You will first download the Template provided on the Review Requests page:

Next you will insert the appropriate information into the .csv template:

NOTE: Add a '0' for those zip codes that do not need to be Default, and '1' for the location that does.

When adding multiple Review Request links be sure to keep just one of the links selected with the checkbox for Default. This ensures that if a client does not have a zip code in their contact record, that review link is sent by default:

You will then locally save the file and upload it to have the multiple locations inserted:

NOTE: If you want to associate multiple zip codes with one Google Review Link you will need to list those zip codes on the sheet and copy/paste the same link on Column B in the csv template.

When VineConnect receives the trigger from your Phase Change SMS to send a Review Request, the system intelligently references the zip code set in the client's contact record, matches it to your mapping preferences, and releases that specific link.

NOTE: VineConnect only references the first zip code found on a client's contact record.

When you've reviewed your work and are happy with the setup ensure you Save your preferences so they are ready to Go Live.

TIP: Get your review link by going to Google Business Profile -> Your Listing -> Choose the widget titled "Get More Reviews". You can use this link directly in VineConnect or use a short-code tracking service like Bitly (https://bit.ly) if you want to view analytics on clicks and engagement.

When you are ready to initiate Review Request SMS with your phase change be sure to set them both 'LIVE' so they send out SMS to clients as expected. For Review Request SMS you can set this live on the Configure Review Links tab of the page:
