Using this feature allows you to ensure clients who should not be contacted won’t be, or control the type of data/notification they receive and view.

Blacklist Client - This blocks a client with the matching name from accessing the Client Portal or receiving any notifications.

Blacklist Project - This blocks the project from being accessed in the Client Portal or receiving any notifications.

NOTE: This feature is available once you have inserted the Filevine API key in VineConnect.

You will use the search function to find matching contacts in your Filevine Org with First Name and Last Name, or Project Name. You can search by Client and Project together or individually, which will then populate options based on your entry for you to select:

Once you add what you want, you'll indicate what kind of restrictions you would prefer to implement for this Client/Project.

EXAMPLE: You can specify if they receive VineConnect notifications only instead of seeing the Client Portal, such as SMS updates on Phase Changes. This allows for more specific restrictions:

After adding those you want on the Blacklist and their specific restrictions, you will SAVE to ensure those stay in place.

You can remove a person from the Blacklist by simply using the red trash can symbol under Actions on the person/project in question:

This list will remain in the admin side of VineConnect for your record as you utilize the platform so you can adjust it at any time!
