At the moment, there is no option available for pausing nor cancelling your Viral Loops subscription inside of your account Billing page.

Please note that the instructions below apply to all customers, except Shopify users that purchase and use VL directly via the Shopify App Store.

If you wish to pause or cancel your subscription, please contact us through the chat icon (your account's email address is needed) or send us an email at support@viral-loops.com.

A cancellation request will simply cancel your subscription at the end of your billing cycle. However, the "Pause" option is actually a downgrade plan, that allows you to have access to the dashboard of all your campaigns and your participants' data. Nevertheless, none of your campaigns will be functional during that period and you won't be able to start a new one either.

Depending on the plan you are using, the "Pause" option has a different monthly fee. The higher the plan, the higher the monthly fee will be (this option is free for multimonth plans, for up to 4 months).

In detail:

Whenever you are ready to start running a campaign again, simply upgrade from "Pause" to the appropriate plan (available in the Billing section). If you face any issues with this, just let us know and we will re-activate the plan for you.

Note: you must pause/cancel your subscription before it renews for a subsequent billing cycle in order to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle's subscription fee. Also, refunds will not be provided for any subscription (read more here).

What about customers via the Shopify app?

All Shopify customers that use Viral Loops via the Shopify app store (not a regular VL account), can uninstall the Viral Loops app if they wish to stop Shopify's recurring charges.
