We have created various tags which are attributed to your Manychat subscribers/campaign participants depending on the step of the campaign funnel they have completed at any given point.

You can find these tags in each flow of the Messenger template.

Here's where you can find them and what each one means exactly:

In the "Basic flow" the following tags are available:

VL-2.1-F1-Seen→ applied when a user opts-in to the giveaway flow.

VL-2.1-F2-Didn't join-after expiry date→ applied when a user opts-in to the Basic flow but the expiration date has passed; next, she/he is going to receive a message that the campaign has expired.

VL-2.1-F2-Already joined-tried to join again after expiry date→ applied when the user re-opts-in to the flow (even though he/she is an existing participant to this campaign), but the expiration date has passed; next, she/he is going to receive a  message that the campaign has expired.

VL-2.1-F2-joined→ applied when a user joins the giveaway (after the API-Participation runs)

VL-2.1-error-no-retry→ applied to a user when the API Participation fails 3 times (it can also be used in case the campaign admin wants to re-target these users with a broadcast).


In the "1st re-engage" flow the following tag is available:

VL-2.1-F3-Clicked follow on Instagram→ applied when a user clicks the Instagram URL on the 1st re-engagement flow.

In the comment-to-message growth tool the following tag is available:

VL-2.1-F0-Pre-launch subscribers→ applied when the user opts-in from the Comment-to-Message opt-in flow (this tag can be used for re-targeting these users on the launch date in case you want to send a broadcast).

In the "choose your reward" flow the following tags are available:

VL-2.1-F1-Interested in 1st reward→ applied if a user has clicked that he/she is interested in the first reward.

VL-2.1-F1-Interested in 2nd reward→ similarly

VL-2.1-F1-Interested in 3rd reward→ similarly

VL-2.1-F1-Interested in 4th reward→ similarly

In the "closing flow" the following tag is available:

VL-2.1.-Interested in shopping→ applied when the participants click on the URL button that leads participants to your e-shop or website.
