No. Strictly no refunds are given once you have paid your lesson fees.

We spend a lot of time curating and preparing your (or your child's) lesson plans, games, videos and resources weeks in advance, so once you have made payment for your upcoming month, no refunds can be given.

Unlike most traditional teachers who charge up-front for a whole 10-week term, we charge on a per-month basis, so you can cancel your lessons at any time, with one billing cycle's notice. Find out how to cancel lessons here.

Do I Get a Refund If I Choose Not to Continue Lessons After the Zoom "Meet and Greet" Session?

No. Your Zoom session isn't the time to start questioning whether you want to join Virtual Piano Academy or not. Once your Zoom session is scheduled, it's assumed you are happy with your decision to learn with us. If you have auditioned, and haven't had a Zoom session scheduled yet (and you don't want to proceed with your application), please let us know ASAP that you wish to withdraw your application. If this is the case, send us a quick message using the pop-up chat window. Specify your name and email address. Please note that your $20 audition fee is strictly non-refundable (ie: is not refunded if your audition is unsuccessful).

During this Zoom session, you will enter your payment details and start your first month of paid lessons. You will gain access to your Lesson Portal, and we'll walk you through getting set up on the website. As soon as the Zoom session is finished, you can start exploring, practicing and meeting your fellow learners.

Do I Get a Refund If I've Scheduled an Additional Zoom Lesson, But Missed It (or Want to ReSchedule)?

No. Once you've scheduled and paid for an additional lesson, your teacher has allocated this hour to you. If you don't attend, you forfeit the fee you've paid and will not receive a refund. If you can't make it at the time that was agreed upon when you paid for the lesson and you wish to reschedule, you will need to pay for another session.
