With Automated Feedback Surveys, you can send quick feedback surveys only to members that actually attended a given event. The qualitative data they provide is a great way to supplement the quantitative data you receive with auto-attendance tracking. π₯³
Automated Feedback Surveys now work for whichever conferencing platform you choose to use! The only catch is that the events must be created within Virtually. π
Here we go!
1. Create Your Event & Toggle Feedback Surveys ON
If you'd like members that attended a given event to receive a feedback survey to their email after the event has ended, be sure to leave the Feedback toggle ON when creating your event.
(Note: This toggle will only appear if you plan to host your event in Zoom and are using our Zoom integration. If you use the 'Choose Your Own' conferencing option, you'll need to send surveys manually. See how in step 5.)
2. Learners will receive an email that looks like this after the session (with your logo of course!)
They'll be able to choose how they'd rate the event and provide additional qualitative feedback.
3. Survey data will appear in Attendance Reports found in your Admin Dashboard
All data is exportable to CSV and Airtable as well!
4. Export Your Survey Data
Just head to the 3 dots on the top right of any attendance report to see your export options. Currently you can export survey data to CSV or directly to Airtable if you've integrated.

From there, feel free to leverage the data to continue improving your programing and to check in on learners that might be having a rough time (or have great ideas for how your program can improve!)
5. Sending Feedback Surveys Manually
Currently, Virtually is only able to automate feedback surveys for Zoom users. That said, if you host your event by leveraging the 'Choose Your Own' conferencing option in Virtually, you can send feedback surveys manually.
Once an event has ended, just head to the attendance report for that event. Click the 3 dots on the top right and select 'Send post-session feedback survey.'
This will send the survey ONLY to members that attended that event. Feedback will appear in the attendance report, exactly as with automated surveys.
Alternatively, if you'd like to send a direct survey link, you can add "/survey" to the end of any of your event links to go directly to the survey page for that event.
