When creating events in Virtually, there are certain things you can and can't edit.

That's why it's important to create your events carefully and try to get it right on the first try if you can!

We're also in the process of building Draft Events which will make it much easier to make edits to your event before you officially publish it to your members.

What You Can Edit

To edit an event you've created in Virtually, just click the 3 dots on the top right.

From there, you'll be able to edit the following:

  • Event Name

  • Event Description

  • Event Date and Time (only of the first occurrence)

  • Conferencing Location

  • Guest List

  • Whether or not you send out an feedback survey (only for events that use Zoom)

What You Can't Edit

  • Event Recurrence

  • Security Permissions

  • Calendar

  • Reminders

If you need to edit an un-editable field, the best option is to delete the event and recreate it.

Additionally, with our native Google Calendar integration, we have full event syncing. That means that deleting and editing events in Virtually will automatically reflect in Google Calendar!
