Here at Virtually, our goal is to automate as much of your live event workflow as possible.

With our new Zapier trigger to automatically export engagement data collected in the Reports you've built to your tool of choice, you can start to do just that!

Read on to learn how to get it set up.

How To Set Up Your Zap

1. Head over to Zapier and create a new Zap. If you haven't yet used Virtually for any Zaps, you can access the Virtually Zapier invite link right from within your Virtually account under 'Settings.'

2. Choose Virtually 1.2.0 as your Trigger app. To set up a Zap that automatically exports Attendance after each event, choose "New Engagement Data."

3. Follow the steps in Zapier to choose the corresponding Virtually account. If you haven't yet integrated your Virtually account with Zapier, be sure to follow the steps presented by Zapier to do so!

4. Choose the tool you'd like to export your data to. This can be Google Sheets, Airtable, or anything.

5. Follow the steps in Zapier to set up your export destination. It's important to choose which data specifically you'd like exported. You'll also need to be sure to set up your export location with the appropriate columns as well.

Here is an example of how to set up an Airtable export and which data specifically you can pull:

6. Once you've filled out the relevant details for your export tool, go ahead and turn on your zap!

Note: How This Zap Works

Engagement data from Virtually reports is updated once per day. When you auto-export engagement data, this Zap triggers student by student.

That said, there may be a delay of up to 24 hours for your data to appear in your desired tool after an event.

The greater number of members flagged in your report, the longer the data will take to appear.
