Step 2: Upload the Files

Learn how to create a Draft for most case types using a simple step-by-step workflow

The Drafts process generally follows five steps. Below are the instructions for Step 2: File Upload.

There are three options available for uploading documents to the case. You can choose the method that works best for your workflow:

  1. Click to Upload or Drag and Drop files from your local computer

  2. Import from your Documents Library

  3. Use integrations to import documents

Notes:

  • Supported files include PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, CSV, PNG, JPEG, TXT (max 50 MB per file).

  • Password-protected and encrypted documents are not supported

💡How many pages is 50 MB?

Text-only Word doc (50 MB): ~1,000–2,000 pages

With images/formatting: much lower (hundreds of pages or less)
