Instructors are able to see AI Detection metrics for Pasted or Original Content on the submission page. This can be found in the table list of all students when you click into the assignment.

These are self-reflections submitted by students after they submit their assignment that asks questions regarding how students felt about their usage and trust in AI while completing the assignment.

To access the setting that allows this, choose the activity and click the edit button in the top right corner. You can then find the setting under the heading Assignment Schedule and Late Submission. Be aware that this setting cannot be updated after students have started submitting their work.

Enabling this setting allows instructors to prompt students with a custom open-ended reflection question about their use of AI. By default, all students are asked to complete a reflection questionnaire, but when this setting is enabled, students are required to submit a reflection.

Reflection submissions do not block the assignment submission, but instructors can see which students did or did not complete it.
