There are two ways to create a custom style

  1. From the canvas, click on the style dropdown menu and then click the + button in the upper left hand corner next to the Styles label. This will open the style builder where you can create a custom style from a prompt.

  2. With any image or group of images selected on the canvas, click on the Create Style button in the sidebar. This will send your selected images through a vision model and will write a style prompt for you. You can then use the style builder to iterate on that prompt.

Best practices

  • More words are not necessarily better. Try experimenting with a few words at a time to see how that impacts your results.

  • Use the Exclude prompt to further guide the model on what you don't want the style to be. For example, you can exclude certain colors, textures, or lighting effects.

  • Put the most important words at the beginning of your prompt. These words will be weighted highest.

  • If you are not getting the results you want, try to describing your desired style in multiple ways.

    • For example, "Moody, dramatic lighting, harsh shadows, contrast between dark and light"

  • Use the {prompt} token to indicate where the user provided prompt should be inserted.

    • For example: "Comic book illustration of {prompt}, halftone and bold outlines"

Examples of customs styles

  • Yellow and pink futuristic photograph of {prompt}, clean background, pastel colors, high-resolution

  • Stylized, fuzzy abstract wool {prompt}, smooth and amorphous, rendered in warm orange and red gradients with soft, diffused lighting, solid gradient background

  • {prompt}, made out of lego pieces, blank background, studio photography
