How to Select Your FHFA Appreciation Graph Area

Learn how to select your FHFA Graph Area(s)

The FHFA Appreciation Graph Report is simple one page way to connect with customers using government data that is automatically created and updated for you quarterly.

After you create you report you will need to select you FHFA Appreciation Area(s). You can select by either the State or the MSA Area.

Selecting your State

To select your State Appreciation Area, first have the Edit FHFA Chart step open.

Then click in the State Dropdown in the top right to choose your state.

Then select your state from the dropdown.

Once selected, the graph will open below.

If you want to use the State FHFA Appreciation Graph then stop here. If you want to select an MSA that best matches your city, then continue to the next step here.

Selecting Your MSA Area

MSA stands for Metropolitan Statistical Area and is how the government divides data to track. To select your MSA Area click in the dropdown in the top right.

Then select your MSA area from the drop down list.

The MSA area will now show below.

*NOTE: If you choose and MSA but want to go back to using the state, select the MSA Area option titled - None (use state chart) -
