Vitable Care AI is an AI assistant that helps you quickly find information about your benefits and take action, right from a chat box in the Vitable app. Instead of navigating through multiple screens, simply ask a question or make a request, and Care AI will look up the information or complete the task for you.

How do I access Care AI?

  1. Open the Vitable app on your phone.

  2. Tap the "Care AI" button in the lower left-hand corner.

  3. Start chatting with any questions or requests you have.

What can Care AI do?

Appointments

Use Care AI to schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments for yourself or a covered dependent.

Actions include:

  • Schedule an appointment

  • Reschedule an appointment

  • Cancel an appointment

  • View upcoming appointments

Example questions:

  • “I have a bad cough, schedule an appointment for me.”

  • “Reschedule my appointment with Dr. Smith.”

  • “Cancel my appointment for my daughter.”

Benefits and Coverage

Care AI knows the details of your specific plan (MEC, MEC+, MVP, ICHRA, or VPC) and can answer questions about what's covered.

Actions include:

  • Check whether a service is covered under your plan

  • Check whether a specific medication is covered

  • View plan details like deductibles and copays

Example questions:

  • “Does my plan cover labs?”

  • “Is albuterol covered under my plan?”

  • “What's my deductible for an urgent care visit?”

Account and App Support

Get quick answers to common account questions without digging through the app.

Actions include:

  • Find your pharmacy ID card

  • Find your lab results or lab order instructions

  • Get help updating your address or personal information

  • Get help adding a dependent to your household

Wellness Advice

Ask Care AI for general fitness and nutrition guidance.

  • “What's a good beginner workout routine?”
