Finding affordable healthcare coverage can be challenging, so we have compiled a list of options to assist you in navigating your choices. It is important to thoroughly understand each plan's pricing, benefits, and eligibility requirements before making an informed decision.
When contacting an insurance provider, we recommend asking detailed questions about coverage, costs, and network options to ensure the plan meets your needs. While we are unable to enroll members in external plans, the organizations listed below can offer accurate and up-to-date information.
The following resources include coverage options that we have previously shared with members. While navigating healthcare coverage can be complex, there are several resources available to help Texas residents identify the most suitable plan.
Below, you’ll find information on state and federal programs, public assistance options, and other coverage resources.
State and Federal Programs
Health Insurance Marketplace (Healthcare.gov)
Texas residents can explore and purchase health insurance through the federal marketplace. Many individuals qualify for financial assistance to lower monthly premiums and out-of-pocket costs. You can enroll during Open Enrollment or if you experience a qualifying life event (like losing coverage or having a baby).
