A Startup Challenge is a call for applications carried out either by a major partner of VivaTech (examples: LVMH, Orange, Huawei...) or by organizations looking for startups addressing one or more technological, social or environmental issues.

A VivaTech Award is a call for applications which results in selected startups speaking (Pitch + Q&A) on a stage at VivaTech. VivaTech organizes four major awards each year. Our mission is to discover and present the best solutions and revolutionary innovations created by startups around the world on VivaTech's stages.

​A Pitch Contest is a startup pitch competition run by major companies or public sector organizations on the Pitch Studio, which is an open pitch stage during VivaTech. The contest provides a speaking opportunity for startups selected by partners (Pitch + Q&A).
