IRIS is a service available only in Greece.
Once you activate the IRIS Payments service on your account, you can transfer money:
through a web browser,
through the Viva.com mobile app,
or by scanning an IRIS QR code.
➤Transfer limits
The daily transfer limit is cumulative across all banks.
Up to €1,000 per day to a merchant account
Up to €1,000 per day to another personal account
Transfers from one personal account to another personal account are also subject to a €5,000 cumulative monthly limit.
➤Transfer through a Web Browser
From the homepage, select Transfers and then IRIS Payments.
Select whether you want to transfer money to a personal or business account.
Enter:
the recipient’s mobile phone number, or
the VAT number if transferring money to a business account.
Select Continue.
You will receive a push notification on your registered mobile phone through the Viva.com app to authorize the transfer.
Tap Authorize to complete the transfer.
➤Transfer through the Viva.com Mobile app
At the bottom of the screen, tap Payments and then IRIS Payments.
Select whether you want to transfer money to a personal or business account.
Enter:
the recipient’s mobile phone number, or
the VAT number if transferring money to a business account.
Tap Continue.
You will receive a push notification on your registered mobile phone to authorize the transfer.
Tap Authorize to complete the transfer.
➤Transfer using IRIS QR code
Select Payments and then IRIS QR Scanning.
Scan the QR code using the Viva.com mobile app.
Review the payment details and transfer amount displayed on the screen.
Select the debit account and tap Continue.
You will receive a push notification on your registered mobile phone to authorize the transfer.
Tap Authorize to complete the transfer.
➤Fees for IRIS Payments transfers
There are no transfer costs for using the IRIS Payments service.
Professionals and Sole Proprietorships can view the applicable fees for payments received through IRIS Payments in the Viva.com pricelist.
Important!
Payments received via IRIS count towards the 0% fee reduction program of Viva.com. This means that if you use money received through IRIS for business expenses, the corresponding fee will be refunded to you.
