How to use the Journal

The Journal is an easy way for you to keep a diary of important health events and discover meaningful insights about your behaviours and lifestyle.

You can use the Journal to quickly log your symptoms, mood, energy levels, activities, therapies, medications and many more.

Here's what you can do:

Pin your favourite items

Under the Pinned section, tap Edit Pins, then select the items you want to pin to the top of your Journal. This will make them easier to find when you need to quickly log journal entries in the future.

Browse items and categories

Browse items by scrolling down or searching in the search bar to filter the results.

Edit categories to change where they are positioned, for easy access later.

Log a Journal entry

To log a journal entry, you can write a note, select some tags, and then save it. This will then log it to your Track page, where you can also see it on your glucose chart.

Get insights to improve your health

Logging in your Journal unlocks valuable insights about your health, including:

  • Identify patterns in your glucose chart from journal logs

  • Get a summary of insights in your 14 Day Glucose Report

  • Get insights related to your Resilience Score in the Insights section of the app

  • Ask Zia AI for any tips and recommendations based on your Journal data
