The cycle tracking feature is a way for women to easily track their cycle, understand how their glucose, energy and symptoms change across their cycle, and get unique insights to improve their diet and lifestyle.
These insights enable women to better manage their hormonal and metabolic health across the menstrual cycle.
At this stage, the cycle tracking feature has been designed for women who experience a menstrual cycle. For anyone not experiencing a menstrual cycle, the symptoms tracking is still available via the Journal feature.
How to log your period
To log your period, simply click 'Log Period' and then select the days which you want to log your period. This will update the future predictions in the Vively app. Vively will predict your future periods and fertility window based on the data inputted into the app, allowing you to see in advance when you're expecting to have your period, fertile window and ovulation date.
How to view your cycle insights
To view your cycle insights, click the 'View Insights' button. This will open up a page with two charts:
Physiological responses
This chart allows you to track your glucose, energy and discomfort levels across the menstrual cycle. Click the (i) button to learn more about the data.
Hormonal phases
Swipe right on the chart to see the Hormonal phases chart. This chart allows you to see your glucose, energy and discomfort in relation to your luteal and follicular phases of your cycle. Click the (i) button to learn more about the data.
How to view your symptoms insights
To view your symptoms insights, you will need to use your Journal to log data. Log your symptoms, menstrual flow, energy and mood levels.
This data will then start to appear in your Cycle Insights page, giving you unique insights about your data across the menstrual cycle using AI-driven pattern matching.
You can then click 'View all Symptoms' to see a detailed breakdown of your symptoms insights. Make sure to use the Journal to log lots of your events in order to get powerful insights here.
How to turn on/off cycle tracking
Initially, you can turn on the cycle tracking feature by clicking 'Get Started' in this component of the Track page.
Later, if you want to turn on/off the feature, you can go to your App Settings (in the left navigation bar) and then toggle on/off the cycle tracking feature.
To help you get the most out of this feature, we’ve created a short video that walks you through how the Cycle Tracking section works.
