Once your pathology referral has been issued, you can have your blood collected at any of our approved partner collection centres across Australia.
We work with more than 4,000 approved collection centres, so there's almost certainly one near you.
How do I have my blood test?
Step 1 – Receive your referral
Once your referral has been issued, you'll be able to download it directly from the Vively app.
Your referral can be shown on your phone or printed—both are accepted.
Step 2 – Find your nearest approved collection centre
Use our Collection Centre Finder to locate your nearest approved collection centre:
Step 3 – Visit the collection centre
Most collection centres accept walk-ins, although some also offer appointments if you'd prefer to book ahead.
If your referral requires fasting or any other preparation, please review our guide before attending:

Step 4 – Receive your results
Once your sample has been processed, your results are securely returned to Vively.
Our clinical team then prepares your personalised report before it's made available in your Vively app.
Our approved pathology partners
For standard blood tests, your referral can be collected at any of the following pathology networks:
Abbott Pathology
Australian Clinical Labs
Clinical Labs
Dorevitch Pathology
4Cyte Pathology
IQ Pathology
Laverty Pathology
QML Pathology
Southern Sun Pathology
TML Pathology
Western Diagnostic Pathology
Some specialised tests (such as gut health or genomic testing) are processed by dedicated laboratories. If your test requires a specific laboratory, your referral will clearly indicate where it needs to be collected.
Why you must use an approved collection centre
Using one of Vively's approved pathology partners helps ensure your results are processed correctly and delivered directly into your Vively account.
If you attend a pathology provider outside our approved network, we cannot guarantee that your results will be available within Vively and you may experience one or more of the following:
Delays
Your results may not automatically reach Vively, meaning additional manual follow-up may be required before your report can be completed.
Missing biomarkers
Some pathology providers do not perform all of the biomarkers included in your referral. This may result in incomplete pathology results and missing health insights.
Additional costs
Some non-partner pathology providers may charge collection or processing fees.
If testing needs to be repeated because the incorrect pathology provider was used, additional charges may apply.
Results may not appear in the Vively app
Results collected outside our approved pathology network may not be compatible with the Vively platform. This means they may not appear in:
your Vively app
your Vively health reports
your practitioner's dashboard (if applicable)

Frequently Asked Questions

Most collection centres accept walk-ins.
Some locations also offer appointments if you'd prefer to book ahead.
Can I show my referral on my phone?
