Below are the step-by-step instructions for applying your Sibionics GS3 CGM sensor so you can get started with glucose tracking in Vively. The process is quick and designed to be as simple and comfortable as possible.
What’s included in your Vively sensor pack
Your Vively delivery includes everything you need to apply your sensor:
1 × Sibionics GS3 sensor
1 × sensor applicator
1 × alcohol swab
2× adhesive overpatch

Step-by-step: applying your Sibionics GS3 sensor
Step 1: Choose your application site
Select a clean, flat area on the back of your upper arm. This is the recommended placement site for the Sibionics GS3 sensor.
Step 2: Clean the area
Use the alcohol swab provided to thoroughly clean the application site.
Allow the skin to air dry completely
Do not apply lotion, oil, or moisturiser beforehand
Dry skin helps the sensor adhesive stick properly
Step 3: Prepare the sensor
Open the sterile sensor packaging
Remove the cap from the applicator
Avoid touching the sensor filament or adhesive surface
Step 4: Apply the sensor
Place the applicator flat against your arm
Press down firmly and evenly to apply the sensor
Press until you hear or feel a click
The application should be quick and generally painless.
Step 5: Apply the Vively patch
Remove the backing
Place it over the sensor and surrounding adhesive
Smooth it down gently
This helps keep the sensor secure during exercise, showers, and daily activity.
Step 6: Activate your sensor
Open the Sibionics GS3 app on your phone
Follow the in-app instructions to connect your sensor
The sensor will begin a short warm-up period (typically around 60 minutes)
Step 7: You’re all set
Once the warm-up is complete, your Sibionics GS3 sensor will start sending glucose data to your phone and syncing with the Vively app for insights and reporting.
