The Baseline Health Check is Vively's recommended starting point for gaining a broad, objective picture of your client's health.

It combines comprehensive pathology testing with the Vively Practitioner Platform, helping you establish an evidence-based baseline before developing or refining your client's care plan.

Vively coordinates the testing pathway—from referral management and pathology collection through to results delivery—so you can focus on what matters most: interpreting the results in the context of your client's history, symptoms and goals.

What does the Baseline Health Check include?

The Baseline Health Check includes:

  • A comprehensive pathology panel covering more than 70 biomarkers across 10 key areas of health

  • Referral management through the Vively Practitioner Platform

  • Pathology collection through Vively's network of collection centres

  • Secure digital delivery of results to both you and your client

  • Practitioner tools to review biomarkers, monitor trends and support ongoing care

Results are typically available within 3–5 business days after the laboratory receives the sample, although turnaround times may vary depending on the tests requested.

When should I recommend the Baseline Health Check?

The Baseline Health Check is ideal when you want to:

  • Establish an objective health baseline for a new client

  • Support a comprehensive initial assessment

  • Investigate symptoms using a broad range of pathology markers

  • Monitor changes over time following nutrition, lifestyle or clinical interventions

  • Provide clients with a clearer understanding of their current health

What happens after the referral?

Once you've submitted a referral through the Vively Practitioner Platform:

  1. Vively coordinates the testing pathway.

  2. Your client receives instructions for completing their blood test.

  3. The laboratory processes the sample.

  4. Results become available within both your practitioner dashboard and your client's Vively app.

  5. You can review the results and incorporate them into your consultation and care plan.

What can I see in the Practitioner Platform?

Once results are available, you'll have access to:

  • Individual pathology results

  • Historical trends (where available)

  • Biological Age (PhenoAge), where all required biomarkers are available

  • Practitioner-friendly result summaries

  • Downloadable pathology reports

  • Client history within your dashboard

Who interprets the results?

Vively provides the technology and coordinates the testing pathway.

As the treating practitioner, you remain responsible for interpreting the pathology results, discussing them with your client and determining any appropriate clinical recommendations.
