Once your client's pathology results have been released by the laboratory, they are securely delivered to your Practitioner Dashboard.

From there, you can review results, monitor trends over time and, depending on your chosen release settings, decide when your client receives access to their results within the Vively app.

Where can I find the results?

To view your client's results:

  1. Log in to the Vively Practitioner Platform.

  2. Open your client's profile.

  3. Select the relevant pathology referral.

  4. Open the Results section.

From here, you'll be able to review your client's pathology results in one central location.

What information can I see?

Depending on the tests requested, your Practitioner Dashboard may include:

  • individual pathology biomarkers

  • historical results and trends

  • Biological Age (PhenoAge), where available

  • AI-generated summaries and insights, where available

  • downloadable laboratory reports.

Additional features will continue to be introduced over time.

When will results become available?

Routine pathology results are typically available within 3–5 business days after your client's sample has been collected.

Some specialised biomarkers may require additional laboratory processing and may therefore take longer to become available.

Once results have been released by the laboratory, they are immediately available in your Practitioner Dashboard.

You can then choose how your client receives their results.

Immediate Release

If Immediate Release is selected, pathology results are made available to both you and your client as soon as they are received from the laboratory.

This is the default workflow for many practitioners and allows clients to access their results immediately through the Vively app.

Manual Release

If Manual Release is selected, the results are first made available only to you within your Practitioner Dashboard.

You can review the results before choosing when to release them to your client through the Vively app.

Practitioners choose this option when they prefer to discuss pathology findings with their client before the results become visible.

Can my client see the results too?

Yes.

You control when your client gains access to their pathology results.

Depending on the release option you select:

  • Immediate Release – results are made available to both you and your client as soon as they are received from the laboratory.

  • Manual Release – results are delivered to your Practitioner Dashboard first, allowing you to review them before releasing them to your client through the Vively app.

This flexibility allows you to choose the workflow that best suits your clinical practice and client communication preferences.

Can I compare results over time?

Yes.

The Practitioner Dashboard stores previous pathology results, allowing you to monitor changes across multiple tests.

Longitudinal tracking makes it easier to:

  • identify trends

  • monitor the effectiveness of interventions

  • support evidence-based clinical discussions

  • demonstrate progress over time.

Can I download the laboratory report?

Yes.

Where available, the original laboratory pathology report can be downloaded directly from the Practitioner Dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

Will I be notified when results are ready?

Once results have been released by the laboratory, they become available within your Practitioner Dashboard. If enabled, you'll also receive the relevant platform notifications.

Your client will receive access according to the release option you selected (Immediate Release or Manual Release).

Can I edit pathology results?

No.

Pathology results are received directly from the laboratory and cannot be edited within the Practitioner Platform.

Can I view previous pathology requests?

Yes.

Each client profile contains a history of previous referrals and available pathology results, making it easy to review progress over time.

My client's results aren't available yet. What should I do?

Most routine pathology results are available within approximately 3–5 business days of collection.

If results are taking longer than expected, some specialised biomarkers may still be processing.
