Welcome to Vively! It's time to set you up for success.

Let's cover everything you need to know to get started:

Today screen

Here you'll find your challenges and articles! Our most successful users are diligent about completing their challenges daily!

Challenges

The challenges are designed to help you build healthy habits through experimentation. You can choose to do one Challenge at a time or do several! All are based on the science.

You'll need to start the challenge and tick it off in the app each day. If you miss a day, you'll have to start again!

You can cancel Challenges at any time.

Articles

Here is where you can read evidence-based information developed by our health experts, including Dr Michelle Woolhouse and Charlotte Battle.

The articles are grouped in categories such as:

  • Nutrition

  • Movement

  • Sleep

  • Stress

  • Ageing, and more

You can also filter based on the level of complexity, choosing either Basic or Deep-Dive.

The 'Plus' button

This is how you add a food log.

Logging your food

Logging your meals is extremely useful because it helps you to understand how different foods impact your health. It also means your dietitian can get a better picture of you and your data.

  1. Type the food you are logging into the Title section

  2. Upload a picture of your food — either from your camera roll or take a photo

  3. Tag it as one of your favourites (top right corner) if it's a common meal you have to save time later on

  4. Choose whether it's a 'drink', 'snack' or 'meal'

  5. Enter the date and time

  6. Add the ingredients

After 2 hours have gone by, you'll be able to see your glucose levels and how your body responded to your meal!

Once you’ve added a meal, Vively uses this in your Food Score, which contributes to your Wellness Score.

Insights

When you click on your Insights tab on the bottom bar, you'll see (from the top):

Your Wellness Score

When you click on Your Wellness Score, you'll see your Daily, Weekly and Monthly Scores.

Your Wellness Score is made up of four components.

Your Wellness Contributors:

  1. Food Contributors

    • Food Score

    • Fasting Window

  2. Sleep Contributors

    • Sleep Duration

    • Sleep Timing

  3. Activity Contributors

    • Last Activity

Click into each section to read more about how each of these is calculated. To get an accurate Wellness Score, you'll need to log everything as best you can!

Remember, try not to be too hard on yourself! This is a journey, the tiny steps you're making are amazing and are what will get you to feeling your best.

Exercise Insights

Here you can view your exercise insights, how they affect your Scores and how your Score compares to other Vively users.

Your Exercise Insights are taken from your integration with Apple Health/Google Fit, so make sure you have this enabled.

Sleep Insights

Here you can view your sleep insights, how they affect your Scores and how your Score compares to other Vively users.

Your Sleep Insights are taken from your integration with Apple Health/Google Fit, so make sure you have this enabled.

Chat

Here is where you'll find your personal Vively Dietitian! This option is only available to those that have added this feature onto their membership. You can add it anytime you like through the app!

Your Vively Dietitian is there to message 24/7. Feel free to ask them any of your pressing questions, whether that be lifestyle and food-related, or app-related.

Your Vively Dietitian will only reply within business hours Monday-Friday. But, feel free to message them at anytime, and they'll get back to you during these times.

Response time is varied, between a few hours to 24 hours, depending how busy they are.

They are there to help and support you on your journey, so utilise them as best you can!
