Learn about how your food contributes to your Wellness Score.

Your Food Contributors are part of what makes up your Wellness Score, which is an overall picture of your health on the Vively app.

You can find your Food Contributors by going to:

Insights tab on the bottom bar > Today's Wellness Score > Food Contributors

Your Food Contributors are made up of 3 components:

Let's go into more depth about each.

Avg Food Score

This is calculated using your CGM data. The app will calculate your Food score out of 10 for each meal you log and then determine the average. The score is calculated using your blood glucose response and is an average of your three lowest scoring food logs.

Remember, this is one way to look at your nutrition, not the only way! Food is more than your glucose response, it also includes how you feel when eating it, whether it brings you joy, nourishment or satisfies your cravings. So, while the Food Score is fantastically useful, it isn't a complete picture, so keep that in mind.

Fasting Window

This is calculated using your CGM data and your Apple Health/Google Fit data. It is the average time between dinner and breakfast. The ideal fasting window is between 12-16 hours.

Note: you will only receive the above food insights when you're wearing your CGM. If you're not wearing a CGM, your Wellness Score will be calculated from your sleep, activity and habits contributors.

To get an accurate representation of your nutrition, you'll need to log everything as best you can! So remember to scan your CGM, log your meals and take photos of your food.

Remember, be kind to yourself. This is a journey, the tiny habits you're creating are beautiful and are what will get you to feeling your best!
