1. How to Scan Your Sensor
The Freestyle Libre 2 sensor is scanned using your mobile phone via the Freestyle Libre app.
📲 Steps to Scan Your Sensor:
1️⃣ Open the Freestyle Libre app on your phone.
2️⃣ Tap the scan icon in the top-right corner of the app’s main screen.
3️⃣ Hold the back of your smartphone near the sensor (positioning varies by phone type).

Apple Users: Use the top of your phone to scan.
Android Users: Use the back of your phone to scan.
Freestyle Libre 2 Users – One-Time Scanning Requirement
Unlike previous CGM models, the Freestyle Libre 2 does not require continual scanning throughout the day.
You only need to scan once to activate the sensor—after that, the sensor automatically transmits glucose data via Bluetooth to your phone.
💡 Tip: Keep Bluetooth enabled on your phone for continuous glucose tracking.
