The key requirement is built-in NFC technology.

NFC stands for Near Field Communication. This is a proximity-based wireless communication. Differing from Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, NFC is limited to an extremely short range — this is why you need to hold your phone very close to the sensor to get a reading.

For Apple users

  • These phones are supported:

    • iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus

    • iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus

    • iPhone X, iPhone XR, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XS (however there are sensor issues for for iPhone XS after IOS 14)

    • iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max

    • iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max

    • iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Pro Max

    • iPhone 14 - All models

    • iPhone 15 - All models

For Android users

  • Vively's Android App is currently only available within Australia.

  • Vively is not available on Huawei or other Android devices that don’t have Google Play Store

  • Android models that are not compatible with Vively include:

    • Xiaomi Redmi

    • Ulefone Armor 7 & Armor X7 Pro

    • Samsung Galaxy S6

    • Samsung Flip Z & Flip Z2

    • Samsung Galaxy A10S
