You can easily activate/deactivate the marketing notifications for your account from the app settings screen. These notifications include promotions, news and updates in the app. Follow these steps to activate/deactivate them:
Go to the "Profile" tab by tapping on your name/picture from the main screen.
Tap "App Settings"
Switch the marketing notification toggle to ON or OFF
If you want to completely deactivate the app’s notifications, access your device settings, select the app and then switch them off.
