As per current crypto regulations in Italy, Vivid Digital (our legal entity for Crypto 2.0 services) is required to collect your tax ID regardless of the country that issued it.
For this reason, if you’ve got a Crypto 2.0 pocket and you’re willing to start trading, you’ll need to provide your tax ID first.
You can add your tax ID in the profile section of the app following these steps:
Access your profile in the app
Tap “Personal Information” and then “Tax Identification Number”
Add your tax ID and then “Submit”.
If you have provided your tax ID to us either during onboarding to the Vivid Money app or shortly after in the profile section, then you have nothing to worry about in regards to the Crypto 2.0 pocket as we will not be requesting any additional information.
If you are new to the Crypto 2.0 pocket and are already using it, and you haven’t provided the Tax ID in your profile section, we will ask you for one.
Since Vivid Digital provides the Crypto 2.0 services, due to regulations surrounding crypto in Italy, we are required to collect your Tax ID. Keep in mind that the Tax ID doesn’t have to be Italian.
