For your account’s security and due to the PSD2 regulations, there are a few limits in place.
Without having to confirm by PIN you can:
Make purchases totalling up to €150
Make a single transaction of less than €50
To reset the limits for contactless payments, please just make the next purchase by inserting the card into the card reader or ATM and confirming the transaction by PIN.
Please note that the limit is not tied to a period of time.
E.g. if you make 7 contactless purchases of €20 in January and try to make the next €20 contactless purchase in February, it will be declined because the total amount of these 8 purchases exceeds the €150 limit.
