HOW TO CREATE A TOP 250 REPORT
Click on Explore from the left-side menu and choose Create New Report.
PROFILE TAB
To run a creative report for competitors you’ve added to your profile via the My Profiles section, select a Profile in the drop-down menu:
Then choose either Link (Brands/Categories linked to selected profile) or Populate (All Selections originally copied from profile).
To run a report with no profile selections included, choose None from the drop-down menu.
Go to the Media/Markets tab first.
MEDIA/MARKETS TAB
Choose the media types and markets you want in the report.
NOTE: If you select more than one media type, the ranking of Top 250 will be decided on total ad spend across all media types selected.
Go to Time Period tab next.
TIME PERIODS TAB
Choose regular Calendar or Broadcast calendar type.
Choose the time period cadence needed in the Frequency column on the left.
Select your Start Date, then your End Date.
Click the + icon to the right to add the time period to your report.
PRO TIP: If you want to set this report up to run monthly, use the Dynamic time period tab to automatically update to the newest time period (EX: most recent month) during the scheduled running.
Go to Layout tab next.
LAYOUT TAB
Under Sorts, choose the data you want in your report.
Choose the Measure for you output. Dollars is usually the most common measure selected.
Under the Selected SORTS and MEASURES column, change the Column Type drop-down to Time Period.
Find the selected Measure on the right and click on the Ranking/Cutoff option.
Choose Top ___ Items and input number into the field (EX: 250)
Uncheck the Include all Other option.
PRO TIP: Keep the Include all Other option checked ON if you want ALL advertisers, but only the Top 250 sorted by spend.
Click the checkbox at the bottom to save your selection.
SAVE & RUN REPORT
Give your report a title in the field located towards the top-left.
Click the Save icon to save your report template.
Click the Run arrow located towards the right to run your report.
