HOW TO SCHEDULE REPORTS

Once you save a report template in Explore, you will have the option to schedule your report to run automatically.

Click the Explore button located on the left-side menu and choose View Report Specs.

Find the report you would like to schedule and click on the 3-Dot action menu located to the far right of the report template, then choose Schedule.

Select your Repeat cadence (One Time, Weekly, Monthly).

Choose the date you would like your scheduled report to start running.

Click the checkbox at the bottom to set your report schedule.

You will see the next time your report is set to run in the Next Run column in your Report Specification list.

SCHEDULE REPORTS USING A DYNAMIC TIME PERIOD

If the goal is to schedule a report to run on a regular cadence which continuously includes new data as it is loaded into the system, it is best to select a Dynamic time period option when setting up your report template.

Go the the Time Periods Tab.

Change the default time period setting from Static to Dynamic.

Select the dynamic cadence needed for your report.

If you've set your calendar type to Regular Calendar (Sun - Sat):

Dynampic time period options Include:

Current: YTD, Month, Quarter, Year

Previous: Month, Quarter, Year

Last: 3 Months, 6 Months, 9 Months, 12, Months, 24 Months

Prior Year: YTD, Month, Quarter, Year

If you've set your calendar type to Broadcast Calendar (Mon - Sun):

Dynamic time period options include:

Current: YTD, Week, Month, Quarter, Year

Previous: Week, Month, Quarter, Year

Last: 3 Months, 6 Months, 9 Months, 12 Months, 24 Months

Prior Year: YTD, Week, Month, Quarter, Year

Selecting Current YTD also includes additional options for how you would like to break the YTD time period out in your report:

Select the dynamic time period needed, then click the blue + icon to add the dynamic time period to your report:

Your scheduled report will now include new information according to the dynamic time period selected.
