There are 2 ways to receive calls using VoiceRules. Over your current mobile or other contact numbers, or over a SIP Endpoint.

SIP is a internet protocol that allows people around the world to communicate using their computers and other devices over the Internet. SIP allows you to send calls over the internet, a form of VoIP but built for professional use giving a crisp user experience.

To use the VoiceRules Browser Dialer you must have a subscription with at least one active phone number.

Making calls from your browser will be charged at standard VoiceRules outbound call rates.

You can use your VoiceRules dialer on any desktop laptop or computer that has a Chrome browser installed.

If you do not have Google Chrome installed you can download it here Download Chrome

On connecting your VoiceRules numbers for the first time you will receive an email detailing how to setup your SIP endpoints.

Within the setup email you will see an address that looks something like 123456789@sip.voicerules.com, this is your SIP Endpoint address and can receive calls via your VoiceRules numbers over your browser and other devices when connected to the VoiceRules App's

When setting up your Call Routing you can use your SIP Endpoints in place of your normal forwarding phone numbers.

Normally you would setup (for example) Call Routing using a phone number as follows;

However to forward calls over SIP you must use Endpoint Username associated with your VoiceRules number, example below.

After setting up your SIP Forwarding and then receiving a call on the related phone number, calls will be sent to your VoiceRules browser or any other SIP devices you have setup.
