What does this do?
This feature allows you to route incoming calls intelligently. Whenever you get an incoming call from your Pipedrive contact, we check for the owner associated with that contact on Pipedrive and let the incoming call ring them directly.
Let’s assume you have a number shared with your teammates. Under normal conditions, this number rings all of your teammates. In the example shown below, it will ring both Kiran and Prateek.
With this feature enabled, consider that you receive an incoming call from one of your Pipedrive contacts, whose owner is Prateek. The system will check if Prateek is available (as per his working hours) and is not already on a call, our system will directly ring Prateek’s web and mobile apps. This makes sure that your incoming caller gets connected with the correct person, probably the one who was handling their case.
If in case, no owner is specified or the owner specified does not have a VoiceRules account, the calls will follow your normal routing settings.
