Lodging Margin: Step-by-Step Guide
Margin can only be lodged once shares have settled, which typically occurs T+2 days after the transaction.
How to Lodge
To lodge your margin, please follow these steps:
Go to the Portfolio Screen: Start from the main dashboard of your account.
Access More Details: Under the 'Equity Line' section, click on 'More Details.'
Choose Lodging Option: You will have the option to lodge as either 'Specific' or 'General.' Select the one that suits your needs.
Completion of Lodging: After your selection, your stock will be sent to Morrisons, who will lodge it on your behalf. The process is typically completed at 4 PM and sent to ASX to lodge.
Overnight Margin Impact
You should see the impact on your margin overnight, reflecting the changes based on the lodged securities.
