1. Age and Residency Verification

  • Age Requirement: To open an account, you must be 18 years or older.

  • Australian Residency: You need to be an Australian resident to open a domestic account. For off-shore residents, please consult with your adviser.

2. Identification Documents

Provide one of the following identification documents:

  • Driver License: A valid Australian driver's license with a clear photo and current address.

  • Passport: A valid Australian passport.

  • Birth Certificate: An original or certified copy of your birth certificate.

3. Tax Information

  • Australian Tax File Number (TFN): Provide your TFN as part of the account creation process. For businesses, an Australian Business Number (ABN) is required.

4. Bank Account Details

  • Existing Bank Account: Provide details of your existing Macquarie Cash Management Account (CMA) bank account that you'll use for funding and withdrawals.
