How to Clear Ball Stuck Behind the Faceplate

Ball Stuck Behind Faceplate

In rare situations, if a ball is hit by the user into the hole where balls come out, the ball can become jammed under the faceplate. This is shown in the below image:

If this occurs, do the following:

  1. Remove a battery for safety

  2. Try to push the ball down with an object

  3. If that doesn't work, the two top bolts must be loosened (NOT REMOVED) with a 4mm allen wrench (bolts circled in image below). This will provide a gap for the ball to fall down. Then, you can reach into the hole and remove the ball

Avoiding Ball Jams

  1. Do not use wet or damp balls

  2. Do not use balls that are moderately or heavily worn

  3. Do not overfill the ball bin

  4. If playing platform tennis, only use Volley branded balls
