So you have gone to change a volunteer email address but noticed it is greyed out and unable to be changed. This is most likely because you have an app account open for them.
Here is how you can change the volunteer email.
Open the volunteer profile
Close their app account by pressing the App Access option (see below)
Press Remove Access
You can now edit the volunteer email
Once changed, just go back to the app access section and create an app account
Please note that if this is the case that there was just a typo or something in their email then nothing to worry about, go ahead.
However, if that volunteer has been active under their old email you may loose the activity pertaining to that volunteer. In this instance you may need to create a new volunteer profile with the new email account and close the old one. It is then also wise to make it clear that the old proffile is no longer used but putting "OLD" in their last name.
