How to Generate and Customise Transaction Detail Reports
Please Note: The transaction detail report, does not include income, only expenditure, please refer to the float report for income
Step 1: Access the Transaction Detail Report - Log in to your account and navigate to the reports tab on your navigation bar where you can access the Transaction Detail Report.
Step 2: Choose Date Range and Report Type - Within the transaction detail report section, you'll have the option to select a date range. This allows you to specify the time frame for the transactions you want to include in the report. - ‘Date Type’ – Ensure you select ‘Date Paid’. - ‘Date Range’ – Select the date range of when the shows occurred -Then click ‘View Report’
Step 3: View All Transactions - Once the report is generated, you will see a list of all transactions within the specified date range and under the selected report type.
Step 4: Use Filters for Further Analysis
To refine the report and gather more specific information, utilize the available filters. You can apply filters to break down the report by various criteria, including:
• Specific User Account: Select a particular user account to view their transactions. E.g. –Jane Doe’s Pre-paid Card or Jane Doe’s Cash Account. You can select multiple accounts at once.
• Show Code: Filter transactions related to a specific show. You can select multiple show codes at once
• Expenditure Category: Categorize transactions by type (e.g., travel, supplies, entertainment).
Step 5: Analyse and Export - With the filtered report, you can analyse transactions in more detail. This allows you to identify trends, track expenses, and gather data tailored to your needs.
If necessary, you can also export the customized report for further analysis or documentation purposes. To export any data, please scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Should you select the ‘ZIP’ file option It will provide you with the data set plus all corresponding receipts, on the export of the Excel file, you will see a Column that is named ‘TXN Number’ this number corresponds with the file name on the receipt files.
