What is a tracking code, and why should I use it?

A tracking code is a snippet of simple code that you can add to the end of a URL to track the performance of campaigns and content in for instance Google Analytics.

How to use this in the VONQ platform?

In the platform we now have the option for you to add your tracking code, for instance UTM, per channel. This way it’s easier for you to track the results of your campaign per channel.

In step 1 of the checkout form, the Job Posting Details, you have the option to add these codes. See the screenshots below.

After this a pop-up will open in which you can add your tracking code per channel.

For example in case you have a posting on Indeed.com, a full tracking link can look like this:

Note: You only have to add the part that comes after the ? in the fields below

UTM Generator

To help you generating UTM codes we build a unique 1 click UTM code generator!

This will help you to create UTM codes for all the channels in your campaign, with just 1 click. The UTM codes will automatically have the correct formatting, for instance everything will be in lower case and spaces are replaced with _

You can also create your own tracking codes in the structure that you want, with your own (non-) UTM parameters.

How does this work?

Take a look at the screenshot and the video for an explanation on how this works.
