Flows allows user to set intelligent defaults and transformation of load data, or incorporate additional sources of information.
Users will be prompted to create Flows through a ⚡ icon if they edit a field, or hover over any field.
More complex flows
The Vooma team can set additional Flows to improve accuracy and build better loads:
Set or append intelligent defaults:
“Set equipment type to flatbed for all PA to FL loads”
Set fields based on values from other fields:
“Add a pickup note to all stops that contains all order references numbers”
“Set specific load notes and facility times for different locations”
Incorporate data from external sources:
“Populate rates and notes by lane based on this spreadsheet”
“Add a reference number to identify spot vs contract loads based on contract lanes in a spreadsheet”
Perform calculations:
“Default the delivery date to next business day”
“Calculate mileage and set delivery date based on transit times”
“Calculate fuel surcharge based on miles and per mile cost”
Send notifications based on triggers:
“If commodity is high value electronics, email the risk team to notify them to use a trusted carrier”
Notify the Vooma team directly or through support@vooma.ai with requested changes:
Include the URL link to the order and your desired improvements
Vooma will process changes and notify when complete
Flows can be set at an organization or customer level.
