Connect VoucherCart to your Shopify account to enable your vouchers, gift cards, memberships, and tickets to be used during online checkout in your Shopify store or in person through the Shopify POS app.
How to sign up for VoucherCart

Connect Shopify to VoucherCart
To connect your VoucherCart account to Shopify, follow the step-by-step guide below or simply provide us with an account login that has 'Manage and install apps and channels' and 'Develop app' permissions, and our experienced team can do this for you.
If you have already connected Shopify by following our Shopify POS Integration guide, then you do not need to do anything further.
Shopify can only be connected once and will support Shopify eCommerce and Shopify POS.
1 - Navigate to your Shopify store dashboard and click Settings.
2 - Click Apps and sales channels.
3 - Then click Develop apps. If asked, click Allow custom app development.
4 - Now click Create an app.
5 - Name the app VoucherCart and select your email address as the app developer, then Create app.
6 - Select Configure Admin API scopes.
7 - Now grant the following permissions:
Discounts:
write_discounts
read_discounts
Locations:
read_locations
Orders:
read_orders
Price rules:
write_price_rules
read_price_rules
8 - Then click Save.
9 - Now select API Credentials.
10 - Then click Install app.
11 - Click Install to confirm.
12 - Click Reveal token once, then copy and save this API token in a safe and secure place as you will need this to connect/reconnect VoucherCart to your Shopify account.
13 - Head over to your VoucherCart dashboard and navigate to Integrations.
14 - Click Connect against Shopify and then click Connect Integration.
15 - Paste the API token from step 12 into the Access Token field, then enter your Shopify Shop URL into the Shop URL field.
16. Then click Save to complete the connection.
How the Shopify integration works
When a voucher, gift card, membership, or ticket is purchased from your sales page (including any manual orders from your VoucherCart dashboard), the integration will automatically create the value of the product as a discount in Shopify.
The Shopify integration must be connected prior to the sale of the vouchers, gift cards, memberships, or tickets for it to be created automatically in Shopify.
Orders made in VoucherCart before connecting the integration won't sync automatically with Shopify.
The integration will create the discount in Shopify as an 'Amount off order' discount.
The value of the discount created will be calculated in the same way the VoucherCart system calculates the total redeemable value (before any discounts are applied to the sale of the voucher).

Disconnect Shopify
1 - Navigate to the integrations page in the main navigation inside your VoucherCart Account Dashboard, click 'Details', then 'Delete Integration'
