How do I see my performance & progress?

We track your progress every single day! You can see your strengths and weaknesses on your Performance page.

We use this information to adapt your units each time you practice so you’re always getting the most efficient curriculum. We also give you the Voxy Proficiency Assessment® (VPA®) every three months. The VPA® measures your overall English proficiency. We recommend that you take the VPA® as soon as you start with Voxy so that you know your starting score. Then, when you take it in three months, you’ll see how much progress you’ve made. To view your study time data, access your Voxy dashboard, navigate to the performance overview section, and select a specific date range to see a breakdown of your study time, including weekly minutes studied.

Overview of Study Time Tracking

Voxy uses an algorithm to estimate the actual time you spend studying, rather than simply tracking how long you are logged into the platform. This ensures that the study time displayed reflects meaningful engagement with the content. However, the total time shown may differ from a simple stopwatch measurement.

Explanation of Study Time Calculation

For planning and tracking purposes, you can estimate your study time using the following method:

  • Each completed activity is equivalent to approximately 3 minutes of study time.

  • Add the time spent in scheduled classes:

    • Private classes: Count the actual duration (e.g., 4 hours of private classes = 4 hours).

    • Group classes: Estimate approximately 30 minutes per class (e.g., 6 group classes = 3 hours). For example, completing 60 activities, attending 4 hours of private classes, and participating in 6 group classes would total approximately 12 hours of study time for the month.

Note for learners studying languages other than English: Please note that the Performance page is currently unavailable for your language program. To track your study time, you can check the time spent in lessons and classes on your Home page before it resets at the end of each month, or contact the Learner Support Team to request a detailed study time report.
