While translation can help you better understand your lessons, it's not the best way to learn a new language. Immersion is one of the fastest ways to develop fluency, so most of your lesson content will still be in your target language (the language you're studying).

Translation availability

  • If you're learning English , you can choose to have certain lesson instructions and platform features displayed in your native language . This can make it easier to navigate and follow the exercises.

  • If you are learning another language (for example, French, Spanish, German, Italian, or Portuguese), translations into your native language are not yet available . In these cases, most lessons will remain in the target language to maximize the benefits of immersion.

We understand that this may be challenging at first, and we are actively working to make the platform easier to use without losing the benefits of language immersion.

How to change language settings

If you wish to adjust your settings:

  1. Go to your Account page .

  2. Select your native language from the drop-down menu.

  3. (For English learners only) Check the box “Translate to my native language” to activate available translations.

This will change some instructions and navigation text, making the platform easier to use.

✨ Tip: If you're learning a language other than English, using a translation tool along with your lessons can help you quickly check the meaning of unfamiliar words or phrases.
