✅ Step 1 — Connect your WhatsApp to WABB
Before you begin, you need to connect your WhatsApp account to Wabb. Here’s how to do it:
There are two ways to connect a WhatsApp account to WABB. The first option is Connect WhatsApp Business App: you link your existing WhatsApp Business App to WABB while continuing to use the app as usual. This allows you to access automation, team inbox features, and customer communication tools inside WABB, while your chat history can be synced automatically. This option is best for businesses that want to keep their current WhatsApp Business App workflow and add automation on top of it.
The second option is Move your number to WABB: you transfer your existing WhatsApp Business number to WABB or create a new one directly through the platform. This option is better for businesses that want to manage WhatsApp fully through WABB, including the bot builder, automation flows, team management, and integrations. In this case, chat history may not be synced automatically, and the number will primarily be managed through WABB.
Below, you’ll find video guides showing how each connection method works. 🎉
✅ Step 2 — Create your first flow
A flow is a sequence of automated messages triggered by user actions — it saves time and ensures consistent, personalized communication.
Start with a simple 2–3 step flow:
✔️ share a discount;
✔️ announce a product update;
✔️ request feedback.
For full instructions on working with flows, check out our training video.

✅ Step 3 — Test your flow
Before making your flow publicly available in WABB, it's essential to test it to ensure it functions as expected.
Method 1: testing with Contacts
This method allows you to manually trigger a flow for a specific contact.
1️⃣ Add a Contact
Go to Contacts, click Add, and enter a name and number.
Or import your contact list — click Import Contacts, fill in the template, and upload.
2️⃣ Launch the flow
Click the contact's name. Tap the three dots (ellipsis) icon and select Run Flow. Then choose the flow you want to test.
Method 2: testing with automation
Share keywords with your customers. If a subscriber writes these words to your messenger, the automatic flow will start immediately for him.
✅ Step 4 — Send mass broadcast
Before making your flow publicly available in WABB, it's essential to test it to ensure it functions as expected.
1️⃣ Import сontacts
Start by importing your contacts into WABB:
✔️ Navigate to the Contacts section.
✔️ Сlick the "Import Contacts" button in the top right corner, download the template, fill it in with your data, and upload it to WABB.
