In this video, you will learn how to use the filter in the Live Chat of Wabb
The Live Chat Filter in WhatsApp Bot Builder helps you manage and organize your conversations efficiently. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on using filters to narrow down your chat view and focus on specific user interactions.
1. Accessing Filters
To start using filters, go to the Chats section from the main menu. Click on the filter icon (shown in the image below) to see the available options, including filters based on tags, sequences, phone numbers, and more.

2. Filtering by Tags
You can filter chats based on tags like 'support' or 'interested in product X.' This helps you quickly locate conversations related to specific topics or customer interests. Note that if new users are assigned a tag, the chat list won't update automatically. You may need to refresh and reapply the filter to see updates.

3. Using Custom Fields
Custom fields allow for more precise filtering by attributes like address, email, or registration date. Choose conditions like 'is,' 'contains,' or 'begins with' to refine your search criteria. This feature is particularly helpful for targeting specific customer groups based on custom data fields.
The image above illustrates the use of custom fields for filtering, with different field options available.
4. Managing Filters
To remove a filter, simply deselect it or click on the 'Reset Filters' option. Regularly refreshing your screen will help ensure the chat list reflects the latest updates based on the applied filters.

By effectively using these filters, you can streamline your customer support process, focusing on the most relevant interactions. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact our support team.
