How to Manage Labels in WABB

Tags are a powerful tool in WhatsApp Bot Builder (WABB) that help you organize and manage user interactions effectively. They enable you to categorize users and target communications for a more personalized experience. Here’s how to create, use, and manage tags:

Creating Tags

  1. Through Settings:

    • Go to Settings and select Tags.

    • Click on the purple Create New Tag button.

    • In the pop-up window, enter a name for the tag (e.g., "Paid Customers") and, if necessary, add a description for easier tracking.

  2. Directly in the Flow:

    • While building your flow, select the action block where you want to add a tag.

    • Click the + icon to create a new tag without leaving the editor.

Using Tags in Flows

Tags allow you to keep track of user actions and statuses within your flows and make it easy to segment and broadcast messages to specific groups of users, such as first-time visitors or returning customers.

Examples of Tag Usage

  • New Users: Tag those interacting for the first time to send them onboarding messages.

  • First-Time Visitors: Identify users who haven’t made a purchase yet.

  • High-Value Customers: Mark users who have made multiple purchases, offering them exclusive deals.

  • Potential Buyers: Follow up with interested users who haven’t completed a purchase.

  • Loyal Customers: Recognize repeat purchasers for special offers.

  • Inactive Users: Re-engage users who haven’t interacted recently.

Deleting Tags

  • To delete a tag, navigate to Settings > Tags.

  • Find the tag you wish to remove, click on it, and choose Delete. Confirm the deletion if prompted.

Filtering with Tags for Targeted Communication

  • Use tags to filter users on the chats page, making it easy to communicate with and manage specific groups based on their activity and interaction history. For example, quickly access all users tagged as "Potential Buyers" to send targeted follow-ups.

By using tags effectively, you can create more personalized and efficient user interactions. For any questions about setting up or managing tags, reach out to our support team through the help center—they’re here to help! Thanks for reading!
