In WhatsApp Bot Builder (WABB), you can set up automated actions that occur right after saving a user’s response, enhancing workflow efficiency without disrupting the user experience. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to implement this feature:

Use Case: Performing an Action After Saving a Response

  • Capture User Input:

    • Start by asking users for information, like their street name or house number, to collect important details.

  • Connect to Action Block:

    • Once you’ve received the response, connect the Save element to an Action block. This is the only block you can connect at this point, allowing the next action to happen immediately.

  • Perform an Action:

    • For instance, you can automatically tag this response. Choose “Add tag” and label it as something descriptive, like “Complete Address.”

    • This action happens in the background, so the flow continues smoothly for the user without interruptions.

    Additional Use Cases for Small Businesses

  • Send Confirmation Messages: Automatically send a confirmation or invoice once shipping information is saved. Just set up the action to trigger on the information submission.
