Team notifications can be displayed even while using Waitwhile. Enabling in-app push notifications lets you stay informed about actions taken by other users while using the Waitwhile platform. These notifications appear as pop-ups across any page, ensuring you never miss important updates, regardless of where you are in the application.

Real-time updates about other users' actions
Notifications display across all pages in the platform
Pop-ups remain visible for 8 seconds or until interacted with
Direct access to relevant visits by clicking on notifications
Getting started
In-app push notifications are disabled in Waitwhile accounts by default. To start receiving notifications:
Option 1: Enable via user settings
Navigate to User Settings > Notifications
Find "Show in-app notifications" toggle
Enable the toggle to activate notifications
Option 2: Enable via the menu sidebar
Locate the bell icon in the sidebar
Click to toggle notifications on/off
Notification preferences
Your in-app notifications are based on your selections for the "Push" channel. To customize which notifications you receive:
Adjust your Push notification preferences
Save your changes
Note: If a user has not enabled push messages as a channel for any of their notification types, the option to also enable in-app notifications will not be visible. Similarly, the bell icon in the sidebar will not show.
Important notes
Notifications only appear for actions taken by other users - you won't receive notifications for your own actions
Each notification is visible for 8 seconds unless you interact with it
Clicking a notification takes you directly to the relevant visit
You can mute notifications at any time using either the User Settings or the sidebar bell icon
A confirmation message will appear when you toggle notifications on or off
